The location is right beside the Concho River. They have outdoor seating facing it. The building is clean and well laid out. I ordered the Vegabond, which is a black bean and quinoa "burger". I ordered it with sweet potatoe chips and a banana pudding milkshake. I thought the prices were a little high, but everything is made in house with fresh ingredients, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The veggie burger was probably the best I've had. The quinoa was crispy on the outside and the patty held together really well. The avocado and sriracha helped to deepen the flavor profile. The sweet potatoe chips were delicious, and the custard shake was awesome!

I will definitely be coming back to try other menu options.

It's what you would expect from a Twisted Root. The burgers are decent and the variety is not lacking. The environment is great for a get-together  with friends or a family outing. There is a back patio that overlooks the river and the atmosphere is lively.

That being said it's nothing spectacular. Its a decent burger with prices a little on the high side. Definitely worth stopping in at least once.

This place is a winner! Located right on the river, the view from the outdoor deck is awesome. As usual, there was a line, but that gave us time to decide what we wanted. Six burgers, fries, rings, fried pickles, we got it all, and shared. I really liked the atomic pickles. A small kick! I got the Western burger and added an egg! God it was good, but almost to big to bite! The loaded fries, with cheese, bacon, and jalapeños was a favorite. Afterwards, the girls got milkshakes. Yummy! We stood out on the deck for a while checking out the river. This is a great place. See you there!

First time walking in here I was mesmerized by the fact that Guy Fieri (my food network idol) had been here.
I decided to build my own burger and got the grilled chicken on a regular bun with bacon and cheese with the side being fried pickles.
I also ordered a boozy baileys chocolate shake and grabbed a spritzer from their cooler.

My food was slightly over salted. I couldn't eat all of the pickles because of the saltiness of the breading. The chicken itself was cooked absolutely perfectly! So juicy and tender. But the bacon was so salty that it really took away from the flavor of anything else.

The milkshake however, was phenomenal. The best milkshake that I have ever had. I got the delicious creamy baileys flavor as well as the Hershey's chocolate flavor with every sip. It was perfectly balanced.

The vibe is amazing in there as well. All of the staff was so friendly and I enjoy their outside seating area as it over looks the little river walk.

To me, the milkshake and meal was a good price compared to prices back home in Seattle, WA.
